Miranda's Mission & Values

I am a product of the Wenatchee School District and graduated from Wenatchee High School in 2008. I not only advocate for our youth in this valley, but advocate for the youths' parents, guardians, and community members: listening to their stressors and frustrations.

I strive to provide educational tools and resources to guide them with their essential needs.

When elected to the Wenatchee School Board of Directors, I want to continue building community resources for our students, educators, families, and community members ensuring they are provided not only with equality but equitable resources.

I want to rebuild our district as it is facing decisions that affect our students, educators, and families with current budget challenges. I want to advocate for our youths' mental health and provide them and their families with adequate resources within the school district; as well as outside of the schools to ensure their mental and emotional health needs are met.

A Lifetime of Community Service

I am humbled and grateful to serve our Wenatchee Valley working for the Department of Social & Health Services with Adult Protective Services. I have previously worked in Chelan County in Superior Court and Juvenile Detention. I not only advocate for the youth in our Valley, but also for their parents, guardians, and community members.

I have had the opportunity to meet with individuals from various backgrounds. I have also had the chance to volunteer with Camp Fire USA, GEAR UP Washington, AVID,

Volunteer in Police Services (VIPS), Knight of Justice, and the Special Olympics.

In addition to this community service, I also served in 2015 as the Community Outreach Coordinator with the Wenatchee Police Department organizing events like Coffee with a Cop and Latino Citizens Academy.
